This week is Job Fair week at Allison Elementary! Students in 2nd-6th grades are encouraged to apply for a campus job that best matches their interests and talents.
The jobs have evolved over the past six years to promote student ownership in their school, build leadership capacity, and work alongside teacher committees to plan and lead school activities and events.
The Morning News Anchor, Computer Lab Technician, and Library Assistant are just a few examples of student leadership roles.
Applications are due by Monday, October 7th, after which the best qualified candidates will be interviewed and hired. The job winners will be announced at our first quarter award ceremony on Monday, October 28th.
